The walk was led by Celia and Miguel and was a very pleasant walk along the coast from Dell Quay to Chichester Marina and then back via the Salterns Path. The weather was very pleasant and the walk was spectacular with some enormous fields of sunflowers.
At Chichester Marina we saw a rowing boat being worked on, it had been across the Atlantic Ocean three times, One of the rowers conveniently turned up for a photo opportunity. We had a coffee stop at the Marina watching the boats going out to sea through the lock gates. We all decided it was better to be outside than going to the cafe before our return to our lovely lunch.
Tree has plenty of moisture, but maybe the wrong type

The boat is being prepared for a trip from the UK to Cabo Verde. The propulsion method being provided by 5/6 energetic local men (rowing all the way!!!!), one of them is the lad with the green top.!!
