Birdham Day Walk 30th January 2019

Pauline's walk, with help from Jean, was very enjoyable in spite of the temperature being barely above freezing. To compensate the sun seemed to shine all day and the walk along the Chichester Channel from Birdham to Itchenor and back was full of interest. We had plenty of wildlife and magnificent views across the water, with a very good lunch in The Ship in Itchenor, enjoyed by all - even though we had nearly all over indulged in homemade shortbread biscuits during the morning coffee break! The walk was about 6.1/2 miles in total.
