This is a 7 mile walk in total, walking 5 miles before lunch at The White Hart in Stopham, and 2 easy miles after lunch. It is muddy in places, especially round the bridge across the river, but is generally fairly easy walking with one or two inclines. Parking is not very easy, but you are welcome to follow Isabel from the North Street car park in Midhurst or instructions are as follows ---- Drive to Pulborough on the A283. At the first roundabout turn left. At the next roundabout turn left on the A29 to London. Very shortly after, take a small left hand turning sign posted "To the Churches". Pass St Mary's Church on the left and the Catholic church on the right. Carry straight on up Coombelands Lane. Pass the Coombelands Racing Stables. Carry straight on, ignoring a turning on the right, until you come to one or two houses. Pythingdean is on the left and Oaklands Farm is on the right. Parking is on the left. NB The grid reference is 041: 205      CAN YOU PLEASE LET ISABEL KNOW IF YOU HOPE TO DO THIS WALK AS WE HAVE TO CHOOSE OUR MEALS BEFOREHAND IF THERE ARE OVER 10 OF US.
