Hindhead Punch Bowl Day Walk 26th Feb 2020

Tim and Jane's walk will start from a small car park next to Boundless Road, just before it dips under the new A3. To get there, take the A3 north through the Hindhead Tunnel and take the first exit to Thursley at the bottom of the hill. Almost immediately turn left into Boundless Road and go back up the hill for about a mile. Before the road goes under the new A3, you should see a car park on the right. The walk is about 6.8 miles and will take us into the bottom of the Punch Bowl. This route has been walked this wet week and wellington boots were NOT needed!

Duncton Hill Morning Walk 19th February 2020

Feb. 19, 2020, 9:45 a.m.

Meet at the Badgers pub at Coultershaw Bridge, Petworth GU28 0JF at 10.15 am latest for pre-ordering our meals. We will then car share to the view point car park on Duncton Hill as the car park is quite small. The walk is 4.5 miles. There’s a steepish climb at the beginning but not too long and then mainly level with one more short uphill - no stiles.

Cocking Day Walk 12th February 2020

Feb. 12, 2020, 9:45 a.m.

The walk starts from the car park at the top of Cocking Hill - along the South Downs Way - through Venus Wood and down to Singleton for lunch at The Partridge Inn. After lunch over Levin Down and up through Singleton Forest to rejoin the South Downs Way. Approx. 8 miles. Jennifer  will need to know who is staying for lunch by Monday evening please. If you would  like to  see if a lift is available  meet in the North Street car park in Midhurst around 9.30 am ready to leave at 9.45 am.

Liss Morning Walk 5th February 2020

Feb. 5, 2020, 9:45 a.m.

Mary & Barbara’s walk (previously Jeff’s) is around Liss lanes and Rake hanger, with some road walking to avoid mud, no stiles and one short steep path. Parking and start from Newman Collard playing field car park. 51º02’27.00”N 0º53’26.00”W SU77878 27416 in Liss. Lunch at the Jolly Drover Hillbrow. The Jolly Drover now require a £5 deposit per person in advance, we will pay the deposit on your behalf, please bring £5 each cash on the day to reimburse us. Please let Barbara know if you will be wanting lunch by Sunday evening 02-02-20.
