Isabel is leading a walk around Tullecombe, Fyning Hill and Liss. The walk will start from the Tullecombe Forestry Car Park at 10.00am and the grid reference is 808:255. From Midhurst, take the A272 to Rogate. Turn right at the crossroads in Rogate and right again at the next crossroads at the top of the hill. The car park is a short distance on the left, set back a little from the road. What3words giggled.princes.habit. We are having lunch at The Jolly Drovers and they have a new policy! They need more exact numbers by Monday at the latest and a deposit of £5 per head, which is very frustrating. Can you please let Isabel know if you are intending to walk and, more importantly, whether or not you are intending to have lunch. Isabel will pay the deposit, but it would help if you could give Isabel your £5 in cash on the day of the walk. The walk will be about 6.1/2 miles in total.
This Wednesday the walk is being led by Peter and Trevor. Starting out from South Harting Church GU31 5QB, parking is available nearby and the walk is around 4.1/2 miles. Lunch will be in the White Hart.
Marian, Maddie, June and Linda are leading this walk, starting from the Cowdray Cafe in Easebourne GU29 0AJ at 10/10.15am. Lifts will be available from the usual Midhurst car park at 9.45 am. The walk will be past Cowdray ruins and towards Selham and then back across the golf course, totalling around 4.5 to 5 miles back to Cowdray Cafe car park making the walk suitable for those who only want to do a morning walk! Lunch will be either in the Cowday Cafe or in the White Horse in Easebourne, with a possible 2 mile lap around Easebourne in the afternoon. Lunch spot will depend on the numbers walking so if you are intending to walk please let Marian know by Tuesday lunchtime if you will be attending.
Shake off that holiday excess by joining us on a gentle few miles around Midhurst. Isabel is leading the walk from The Royal Oak GU29 0EP in Midhurst and we will be doing a loop around the south of Midhurst before returning to The Royal Oak for lunch. Probably 4 to 5 miles.
