Alice Holt Day Walk 31st January 2018

Jeff is leading a walk around Alice Holt Forest and will probably stop for lunch in The Bluebell in Dockenfield. About 6 to 7 miles.     As the morning is longer than the afternoon walk, the start from Midhurst will be at 9.30.  If you are going straight to the car park in Alice Holt, the map locations are SU 82026 43049,  N 51° 10.849',  W 00° 49.619'. Please also let Jeff know on Tuesday evening if you are going straight to the car park to ensure your lunch booking.

Stopham Day Walk 17th January 2018

isa7 mile walk in total, walking 5 miles before lunch at The White Hart in Stopham, and 2 easy miles after lunch. It is muddy in places, especially round the bridge across the river, but is generally fairly easy walking with one or two inclines. Parking is not very easy, but you are welcome to follow Isabel from the North Street car park in Midhurst or instructions are as follows ---- Drive to Pulborough on the A283. At the first roundabout turn left. At the next roundabout turn left on the A29 to London. Very shortly after, take a small left hand turning sign posted "To the Churches". Pass St Mary's Church on the left and the Catholic church on the right. Carry straight on up Coombelands Lane. Pass the Coombelands Racing Stables. Carry straight on, ignoring a turning on the right, until you come to one or two houses. Pythingdean is on the left and Oaklands Farm is on the right. Parking is on the left. NB The grid reference is 041: 205  

Grayshott Morning Walk 10th January 2108

After a few false starts we have found a walk suitable for the current wet conditions. We will be starting from the Fox and Pelican in Grayshott GU26 6LG. Parking in the Fox and Pelican, but there are other car parks nearby. The walk willl take us to Waggoners Wells and onto Ludshott Common before returning to the Fox and Pelican for lunch. The walk is about 4.1/2 miles with only one incline, no stiles and relatively little mud. We will need to pre-order our food so please look out for an email we will send you shortly which will give menu options available and also give details of some special offers.

Midhurst Day Walk 3rd January 2018

Linda, June, Marian and Maddie's walk will be a gentle start to the New Year. Starting from the Midhurst car park it will go up through to Bepton and will reach The Greyhound in time for lunch. About 6 miles.
