Jane and Tim took a stroll up to Steep Marsh, with some early plants peeping out of the ground. Earlier rain made everywhere quite wet, but as most of the walk was on side roads, our feet remained reasonably dry. About 4.3/4 miles.
Snowdrops in Sheet Millenium Field.
Nice box hedge near Steep
"Restalls" - a late 15th century house, the oldest in Sheet
In the garden was some now highly desirable Pampas grass
Well done Hants C C.
The Harrow in Steep is open for take-away food. Split pea and ham soup is legendary.
