Just a row of trees, but what an extraordinary shape - where are these? ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is an easy one, that is, if you've been there! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This last one isn't a mystery, just a beautiful reminder that the bluebells are very plentiful at the moment and if you can get to a bluebell wood safely, are well worth a look. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ QUIZ ANSWERS The gate is on the Midhurst Rother footpath, Woolbeding Estate just after leaving the A272 and that lovely church is St Hubert's Chapel in Idsworth. It was once the centre of a Saxon settlement but the repeated visits of the plague decimated the population and there is no longer any trace of the old village. Wall paintings inside pre-date the plague by only 18 years, having been painted in 1330.
